The Brand New Jamie Murray Doubles Series 2020

A £35,000 Prize Money Mens Doubles Week

The Jamie Murray Doubles Series is an independent enterprise aimed at celebrating the national game of doubles in the UK, whilst increasing prize money opportunities for British players on home soil.

Each one day event will offer players the opportunity to compete for prize money and circuit points, and will form part of the wider 8 day series. The first seven days of the Series will be comprised of Tier 1 and Premier Events - please check below to see the status of this event.

At the close of play on Day 7 of the Series, the top 12 players on The Jamie Murray Doubles Series leaderboard, will earn their spot in the Masters event to take place at Foxhills Country Club on Sunday July 19th 2020. These 12 players will be joined by. 4 Wild-card acceptances, with pairings for the Masters event drawn by lot from the pool of 16 players.

Our final day of the series takes us to the prestigious Wentworth Club...

Enter with partner of your choice each day. All teams will be placed into Round Robin format, with winning teams progressing to the knockout Semi-Final phase, which will be played out until one winning pair remain to scoop the title and the top prize!

Dates/Times -  

Saturday July 18th 2020 - 11am start

Prize Money (Tier 1 events listed as below - Premier Events to be announced after April 1st 2020)

Champions - £1500 per team

Finalists - £800 per team

Semi-Finalists - £400 per team

What to expect -  

One tie-break set match Round-Robin phase, plus Semi-Finals and Finals. 3 matches minimum for every participating team. PlayBrave event t-shirt for all competitors. All matches will be played with deciding deuce format.

Format -  

4 x 4 team Round Robin draws, with follow up knockout draw for qualifying teams. Match ties will be single tie-break set format, with deciding point deuce.

Mens Doubles Events - open to all British, mixed and International pairings. 

Player Acceptance -  

16 Pairs (13 Direct Acceptance + 3 Wild-Cards). 

Acceptance/Seeding based on current ITF Pro Circuit acceptance rules & regulations for doubles merit order 

Player Acceptance criteria P46

Any pair who enter and do not get accepted receive a full refund of entry fee on conclusion of the event. 

Entry/Withdrawal Deadline -  

2pm on Wednesday July 8th. Entry & Withdrawal deadline are one and the same. Any withdrawal received after the entry deadline, will not receive an entry fee refund.

Acceptance List -  

Acceptance and alternate list will be published on the event page at 2pm on Thursday 9th July 2020.
